Galena

We rode to Galena for an overnight stay. The sun was shining, the air was brisk. After walking Grant Park and the historic downtown, we took a ride to Dubuque, IA for a walk on the Mississippi River Walk.  We saw an egret and blue heron in the water. The rolling hills were fun to ride and the scenery was worth the drive.  It was beautiful, one of the Midwest's gems.
