- 2 cups 100% Bran Cereal
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup margarine, melted
- 1 egg, beaten
Combine bran and milk. Let stand 5 minutes. Combine next four ingredients, set aside. Mix margarine and egg into bran mixture. Stir in flour mixture just until blended. Spoon into greased muffin pan. Bake at 400° degrees for 18 minutes. Serve warm.
