Glazed Carrots


  • 5 pounds baby carrots
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • ½ cup butter (1 stick)
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
Preheat oven to 350°. Wash and drain carrots and place in a 2-quart baking dish.  Sprinkle diced onion over carrots.  Slice butter into squares, and then cut squares into quarters, and place over carrots and onions.  Top with sugar, and then stir gently to mix ingredients together.

Cover casserole dish and bake in preheated oven 1 ½  hours until carrots are tender. 

Serve immediately.
