Peanut Butter Crispy Treats


  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 6 cups rice crispy cereal
Grease a 9 x 13 pan. In a large sauce pan over low heat stir together corn syrup, sugar, and peanut butter. Stir constantly, bring to boil and boil 3 minutes. Remove from heat. Add cereal, toss to coat. Press into pan. 
 
  • 1 - 12 ounce package chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp. shortening
Melt chocolate chips and shortening together. Pour over rice crispy treats. Chill until chocolate is firm.
